No procreation when everyone is gay. Why should it be outwardly accepted as alright? You cant be Christian of any type and be a gay. Its imoral by their teachings. Man and women. Women on bottem Misionary style with man in 100% dominant postion on top! And never anything kiny allowed. Its the only accepted way. Dont beleive me ask any preacher. Now how does gay being tolerated fit in that catagory? It doesnt. BUT gov and church try to act seperate. But US was founded by die hard christians. So its laws are still mainly christian made and reinforced. Then you get these lockheeds over such issues.

Just as Islam, any religion based on the the Bible of a version there of, would be against homosexuality.

I think that the point to that is that it seems that alot of religious people are unable to form their own opinions on the subject because they live their lives based on what a book tells them. I am not saying that everyone of religious beliefs follows the bible or the Koran or whatever to the letter, they just use them as a big part of their lives.

I would like to see some of these people try to sit down a form their own opinion on the matter. Forget what your religion says, and look at the facts. Two people that are very happy and want to be together for a long time and want to be recognized for their commitment to each other.

Impossible. You'd get laughed outta the room. Seriously. Some live to die-literally. Its the only thing they have to look forward to is the here agter so everything in the divine book must be true. THEY NEED to believe in somthing else after this. And to diss or question one part of it-means more if it might not be true. This is called blind devotion or blind faith. never question anything its commenly scapegoated as "the word of god" when we know none of the words were written by god. Ultimatly they cant accept it. Its more of a weakness then it is faith. A mortal weakness. FEAR> if you fear it. Kill it, its human nature. IF you cant kill it ignore it or be intolerant of its existance. Which brings us back to arguing over gay rights again. Sad that after 1000's of years we still cant admitt that and hide under religion.
