Need expert help

While surfing the net on 29 Feb, my computer locked up. On restart, I get the follwoing message BEFORE Windows starts up:

"Validation failed for C:/windows/system/VSUTIL.DLL"

I can't even get started using my computer, except in safe mode.

Anybody know how I deal with this?

Windows 98 and Zone Alarm.

Try uninstalling ZoneAlarm and re-installing it.

Can't even get to windows, except in safe mode (I'm doing all this from my work computer). Don't think I can unisntall/install in that mode. But I'll tryu that tonight.

Any other thoughts?
