Hi Folks,
I posted this question on the end of another thread until I found out how to do this. I recount here.

My wife and I filed chapter 7 in late 2001 after owning our home for 5 years. We lost the house and the cars along with our dignity.

We were able to find a house to rent in our area for less than our mortgage was, and bought two clunkers to get here and there.
I guess the problem is that we seem to make the same mistakes over and over again with our money. We should have $600 to $700 a month surplus but instead we, as in the past, have driven ourselves into the hole and on a path that dictates which ever bill is most pressing gets paid.
I know that this is a horrible position to be in because nothing ever gets caught up. Also at this rate we would never be able to get back to owning our own home again.

I guess what I'm asking is are there any programs out there like CPA's that take a hands on approach and help people like me not only set up responsible spending and pay practices but kind of leads us by the hand to do it as well.
We have only 1 credit card a piece and they are current no car loans and no mortgage so places like CCCS do not do that sort of thing.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks j-mac/820
