Here in europe they check if you have any weapons etc on you before you board the fligh.But in many US movies you can see how they check everyone that comes into the US for a criminal´record.


Is this true . or dont they know if the people who come into the US have a criminal recorord ?


I've been checked over and over again for nail clippers
but they have never checked my criminal record afaik .

No criminal record checks that I know of. Just the dangerous finger nail clipper checks. Gotta watch out for those things.

Suposedly it is in the capability to now check the interpol criminal records. That is why you may get refused entry onto a flight with no explination. If they are doing it has not been revealed at this time.

There is a "hot list" that your ticked is evaluated against, including whether you meet certain "spec's" for a person from Sweeden.

Example:

What ID did you show when you checked in? Driver's license or passport? Does the address show up in () "Streets and Trips". If it's a ghetto address or an apartment, expect more scruteny.

Is your route convoluted due to a travel agency shopping price, or did you make choices? Hmmm,

Do you look like a terrorist? Serious look, hard eye contact, look scornfully at the big boobed (decoy) blond that smiled at you?

Criminal record: depends on what it is. And yes, they probably know.
