I'm not sure that Scott (or anyone) can make that choice.
Eventually, and I'm sorry if I offend anyone, you are all going to have to accept these obtursive ads. Advertisers know that you close the window without even looking at it if it's a pop-under. Then only way for them to for sure get their ad seen it to either pop it right in your face, theyby angering you, or putting up a banner that can't be missed.
The days of tasteful advertising are gone. Advertisers realize that banner ads don't pan out like commericals, magazine ads, etc.. and pay accordingly. In order to make anywhere near the money to support a site that requires the bandwidth this site does, one can't use only nice ads that don't bother anyone and blend into the background.
Unfortunately it's really the only way things can be when it comes to banner ads and a free site like this. All Scott can try to do is request certain things don't show up, but that's all it really is, a request.
Sorry once again, I just needed to vent, didn't mean to offend anyone.
