Talk i have now joined the broadband age
just got my dsl up and running this morning. and let me tell you wooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo. this is awesome. for only about $6 moe a month i am getting a way big increase in speed.

now all i have to do is find a game to play online

If you check out the gaming discussion there is a thread regarding playing starcraft online with several other techimo members

I play some D2 as well on b.net... haven't tried on his server yet though!

man there are tons of games.

personally, i like cable (cheapter and faster for me than dsl), but hey, anything's better than dialup.

How is there an advantage from having broadband? Doesnt the game only move as fast as the slowest player?

Which ironically seems to often be me, yet I have broadband! Explain how that works!? Webpages USUALLY load faster on broadband, but I would say that my experience on battle.net (playing Starcraft) hasnt changed at all!!!
Still about the same amount of lag and disconnects.
