ClubMed is on a distinguished road

Dear mods, I just want to let you know that you've just wasted the past hour I spent typing up responses to various questions!

You could have warned us that you were closing CB's thread

It wasn't that bad was it? Would the mods be interested to open the thread again if we all agree to some serious posting rules and serious bannage in case things get worse?

I was kind of enjoying finding out all these new things about Islam and myself

You don't know how many times this has heppened to me CM. It is the ultimate frustration, I understand. I REALLY do. But you're just going to have to deal with it.

One possible solution is to send your message via pm to the recipients.

I always type it up in Notepad first. That way, for whatever reason, I can still C&P it somewhere else if needed.

Where Rick? Surely you're not suggesting that he start a new thread to continue the one you mods closed? That would be a no-no. Not that I haven't done that in the past, but I got my hand slapped for it.

And CM, I know that solution is "no fun" but just the act of doing it will help alleviate some of the frustration, whether you think it will or not.

This one is closed also.
Clubmed knows I closed the thread. We PM'd about it at the time. He asked me to reopen it with no explanation.

He said "It started off okay, any chance of opening it again?"

My reply was,
"I closed it because I feel the questions were never for anything but to flame. Nope I'm not going to reopen it...
But feel free to start your own. The thread starter is banned from the community."

So tell me Clubmed, why did you start this thread? We were talking about the subject privately, were you looking for attention?
Let me know by PM.

edit,
CM said he started this before he knew who closed it. The point remains that one does not start a thread to ask why a thread was closed. He should have asked myself or any other mod online his question.
