As a father of two girls, who are now in their majority (meaning, out of the house and on their own,) I sort of DO look forward to the possible eventuality of them having little ones of their own.
Under the best dang circumstances, of course.
But still...*sigh* the opportunity to play with little babies again....tickle 'em, hold them, and make 'em giggle (the most heavenly sound there is...)
And when they get all crappy, hey it ain't my deal, I can just
hand 'em right back! 
"Hey, I did my part, it's your turn, now"!
