Shocking isn't it CM, to find yourself in complete agreement with the focus of hatred of the far Left in this country, Patrick J. Buchanan, though it's hard to refute anything he puts forth in the article.

I always had the deep suspicion that the real reason for the Iraq war was really to remove the threat of Scuds and Saddam's reward system for suicide bombers in Israel.

The real quagmire in American foreign policy wasn't Viet Nam, but our 50 year submission to the Zionist, exspansionist movement in Israel which, no matter what public statements are made, in effect has been to slowly colonize areas where Palestinians live to consolidate a hegemonic Israeli state in the center of the Middle East and in theory extend American control and influence by proxy through Israeli dominance of the area.

Buchanan makes some good points in the article, but he has been so demonized by the Left in this country that not many pay attention to to what he has to say no matter how true .

Not shocking really, one can either accept what the media tells soceity to believe, or one can invest some time into serious research and in depth reading from many different sources to find out what's really going on.

I believe that if one does the latter, one will always disagree with the general opinion, which most often is quite uninformed and molded by expensive media and propaganda campaigns.

Well...Israel is now and will increasingly be THE....not 'A' but "THE" unsolvable problem in the world. More and more it will become popular to blame Israel for all the worlds problems....just like they were blamed for the black plague, lol. Why were they blamed? Uhh, could it be because none (comparatively) of them died during it?? lol, cuz they didnt eat pork and because they kept to that crazy obsessive fastidious washing of pots and pans etc etc as they determine that their "law" tells them to do.

Even now the EU and world court etc are looking at Israels "arafat fence" (lol)..to determine if it is "legal"....anybody wanna guess what they will rule? Ever seen the votes taken at the UN concerning anything to do with Israel? the votes would generally be, say, 188 to 2. (or however many total countries there were at various times)

Can you guess who the 2 would be? The USA and Israel with all other countries against.

I think now maybe Micronesia has voted for Israel on occasion, lol.

How at this point ANYONE in their right mind could question the bible..is beyond me.

Because it is specifically foretold that God will cause the nations to be "drunk"...just like they are now...drunk with rage and frustration....over the issue of Jerusalem SPECIFICALLY.

Zechariah 12:2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.

You see even now that even in humble threads like this that we today are "laying seige" to Jerusalem. We lay seige in word right and cartoon and article right now...but what will that lead to? What did it lead to 65 years ago?

I mean..thats just ONE of hundreds of prophecies and it WILL become clearer month by month now...it is at the point where it wont back down it WILL continue to increase in intensity....just like a womans pregnancy in the last month.

And it is only starting...there is no peaceful solution to be found...oh yes...a peace covenant WILL be signed....nice little 7 year covenant and people will be deceived into thinking that our long wanted peace is here at last. One dude that signs the covenant will be the Antichrist....and..as you may guess, lol..he will renig on the covenant halfway thru the 7 years.

So look for this....look for some peace covenant...in my understanding it WILL involve and allow for the, gasp...rebuilding of the Jewish temple (last destroyed in 70AD). The Jews will actually start animal sacrifices again. Which probably plays into why the antichrist will renig because part of the renigging will be that he will STOP the sacrifices....to the loud applause of the world. He will stand in the temple and declare himslef to be God (or "sovereign") and he will demand everyones allegiance etc. That will lead to all nations being gather together against Israel. (armegeddon)

Watch for this covenant..that will be the next thing to happen..watch out when they say "peace! peace!"


One thing I am not quite clear on is the position of America in all this. I for one hope we NEVER turn our back on Israel.

By the way that doesnt at all make me a "zionist"....a zionist in my mind can be equated with the "zealots" of Jesus' own day. They wanted to accomplish with human force what God would accomplish His own way. Some today...the Jews at this point are trying to accomplish Gods will thru human means...which isnt Gods way..they are trying to use human force and bravado and skill instead of trust and obedience to God.

But again I state...how can anyone deny the bible and the existence and truth of God when they look at the history of Israel?? Unless maybe you think it is just coincidence that they have survived the hatred of the world against crazy odds and have been gathered together back to their own land again and are now the focus of the world oncemore....just as the bible says....the bible..which even if you try to late date it...the writers had no HUMAN way to know these things would happen.

Look at the description of what is evidently nuclear war in Zechariah

Zechariah 14:12 . And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

Now...however you want to "late date" the New testament...this was OLD testament writing.....pre-Jesus..,....how do we suppose this guy would now about nuclear war??? When even stuff like electricity was still 2000 years away, lol. (what else do we say it is describing then?? It is the exact picture of what is shown in Terminator 2 if I remember that far ago. Although it could also be simply an actualy "plague" or something like "fire from heaven".)

Ummm,

not too sure about the tongue disolving in the mouth. I would guess your ribs would be exposed first as there is only skin protecting them. Your teeth and jaw would go before you tongue. Of course at that range they would probably consider you to have evaporated completely.

You could say devine prophecy told him or he just tried to describe the worst thing he could think of. And 2000 years later we figured out how to make a device which could accomplish what he described.

Unfortunately CM, the great, indifferent, uninformed herd that makes up most of the American public is more than willing to believe just about any drivel the US media feed to them.

The religious fanatics in Israel are just as responsible for the violence in the Middle East as the Islamist fanatics are ... the Muslim side just doesn't have a 900 lb. gorilla (the USA) backing them up they way Israel does.

Maybe the best thing for peace would be for the USA (and the rest of the world) to wash it's hands of both sides, tell them to either kill each other off or make peace... the whole world is just tired of them both.
