OK, I got my first thread closed not to long ago, and it got me wondering..

How many closed threads do you have?

Might need the help from some of the old timers her, but who has the standing record for number of closed threads, that is still a current member?

And...

What is the record closures for any member, current or not?


I have 1 closed thread.

I can only think of one of my threads being closed...
and one being completely deleted...

#1 - Religious
#2 - Gay humor. not meant to be offensive but could of been turned into it.

Both times i respected the mods descision.. and as well as the.. one warning i recieved

kudos to all the mods!

We do not delete threads. Just take them from public view.
Getting a thread closed really isn't much of a "Red Badge of Courage" It is nothing to brag about nor compare offenses.

I can tell you that inappropriate posting will get you banned...

Perhaps reminding us of past sins is not a good idea?

Sorry, I didn't mean it as a bad thing, only curiousity.

Alot of the time is is not even the person posting it, who is to blame, some just have way of bring up topics that are more contrivercial than others... but that's OK, It is what makes us human, and unique, not sinful.

And obviously if someone has 20+closed threads, but is still a member. They are not a bad person, they just have a way of hmmmm, creating unappropriate kaos? (more than most).

If you feel this thread is unappropriate, I would take no offense having it closed.

I've never had a thread closed...amazingly enough... Not that I'd WANT to, ya unnerstand...

The closest I ever got to being "modded" was when I got a PM from one of the guys, saying he objected to a descriptive word combination I used, and would I mind having a little discretion, eh?

I didn't mind editing it. I don't consider anything I write as being "precious", you know?

So I PM'ed him back, said "we cool, now?"

He PM'd back with a big "smilie".

Harmony is a cool thing. Doesn't cost a dime, also.

And, it doesn't dent one's integrity, either.

Edit: I wonder...maybe the mgt. is just tired of threads that really have no point to them (and have the potential to run 100's of posts), and perhaps the new policy is to cut 'em off, maybe?

Hah, if that were so, I can think of at least two threads that are well overdue for trimming.
