Yay!! C. Webb is back!!!
Well, kind of... Yahoo! News Sports Illustrated
He'll be out eight games, without pay, and then he'll be cleared to start playing for the number one Sacramento Kings |

woot woot
hopefully he still knows how to play
I think that eight game suspension is a joke. The NBA shouldn't be involved in that deal at all.

Well, the five games are for substance abuse - Something they have every right to be involved in. Oddly enough, lying to a grand jury only gets a person a three game suspension.
*EDIT* I was waiting for a Sac-area dude to post! |

| The only thing that is a joke about it is the fact he can serve it while injured. My understanding of it is he was only activated in order to be able to serve his suspension.
He just ought to count his blessings that Moneybags Martin croaked when he did or C. Webb would be juggling some other balls at Club Fed.

Is Webber back, or is it just his ego? |

Bitter, Ha!!! thanks to the exploits of Webb and the rest of the Drab 5, I think UM now holds the consecutive loss record in mens NCAA ball.
Their B-ball program is in a shambles.

Really, other than rape, drugs, a few instances of resisting arrest, illegal weapons charges, an occasional murder and a general lack of accountability to their fans and the public in general, NBA players are no different than the rest of us.

If the Kings think that Webber will be the savior for the Kings, at least in the short term (with Brad Miller recently being injured), they will be in for a big surprise.
C Webb probably won't have the spring he used to, and he will be experiencing significant ring rust.
