i ordered something from them on the 9th
it said it would be here around 3/19/04

but it got here yesterday (14th)

That was pretty fast for shipping from Japan, especially considering customs usually sits on a package for a few days, at least in my past experiences with international shipping.

yeah thats partially why i am so surprised, i was looking at customs stuff, books seem to be duty-free to import, so maybe they just have a big book detector or something to speed them through... plus the customs sticker says its a book..

Could be. I am usually importing computer parts from Canada or Taiwan. Customs loves to thoroughly search my packages.

You should see the list of paperwork it takes to get a simple video card or motherboard across the border.

i would say its very worth it, its like the cutest book ive ever seen
it was like 1100 yen, plus 1500 or so for shipping, so like $24
not too bad for a book these days

its made to teach people english, so i think it would help with my japanese, since its in both languages.. that aside, it just looked hilarious and adorable

it has the 1000 most used words and phrases, such as "as long as i continue my hobby, i can't invite my girlfriend into my room"

plus its way perverted, the way a japanese book should be

$24 is decent for a book. Too bad it was not offered as a eBook = cheap price, quick download.
