bobs appology

Hey this is my public appology for spamming a new members thread about two months ago. It was a stupid thing to do and an even more retarded thing to not apologize sooner. So to everyone involved I am sorry, especially the mods who had to fix it.

I'd also like to apologize for all the times I've ridiculed linux and people who like it. I really don't like it for a number of reasons but that doesn't give me the right to attack it. Numbers seem to prove its really catching on.

It probably doesn't really matter a whole lot now. Ive just gotten so tired of how sick the world is. Its made me angry twoards everything in it, but being angry at it can't be the answer. Beating on a diseased organ doesn't heal it but helps the disease to spread through the weakend tissue. I've always just bottled stuff up, pushed bad things away and out of my mind. There is a lot of stuff I don't aggree with thats happening. People take sex, addictions, hatred, and evil way to lightly. And I can't hold my head up and say I'm better in anyway. I let a lot of this go on around me without standing up. I don't act the part of the Christian I claim to be. I've hated so many people who claim to be Christians but do not act the part when infact I'm doing the same thing. I suppose its like they say, "you hate other people for having the traits your weak in."

So I hope you can forgive me. I'm not saying you have to, or you even have to care, its just very important that I take the first step. Maybe some of the world will follow me if I drop my hypocritical ways.

Regards,
Daniel aka "bob the great"

Eh...nah, maybe some other time.

Sure, everyone goes through hard times, Bobby Boy - I went through some VERY hard times 3-4 weeks ago...timo members helped me through it.

But right now, I just cut my hair and am very satisfied with it. Best haircut in awhile.

Don't worry about it... Seems like it was a learning experience, to me. So that's good.

Been right there...more times than I care to remember. each of us hides a little something we can't face in ourselves...so, we hide behind the anonymity here at the forum where we can "sometimes" act more holier than thou...it just us being human Daniel..it takes a strong person to recognize when he has slipped over the line and make amends.. you have my vote!

As far as the thread goes, either the link is wrong or you have nothing to apologize for. No moderator edits, or any edits at all on the thread that I could see.

It seems to me that you have one screw up, "get out of jail free card", coming to you.

Cheers!

Bob, you've been with us a long time, so whatever has happened in the past is forgiven, AFAIC.

It sounds like you've recognized some areas in your life that could use improvement, I wish you the best of luck with the changes, just make sure you look to the future instead of dwelling on the past. Keep a positive attitude and you'll be fine.

Fingers

Atomic Rooster will become famous soon enough

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully
dressed Each morning by eight o'clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup Perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window.

"I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy. "Mrs.. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait." "That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied.

"Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it "It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up.

I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away ... just for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account .. you withdraw from what you've put in.

So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories. Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
