There was a comedy skit done by Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence.
They were in a doctors office in the waiting room waiting for their prenatal exams. Carol was showing about 7 months and Vicki, just barely. Vicki starts a conversation with Carol:
Vicki: Is this your first?
Carol: No. This is my third.
Vicki: This is going to be my first. What does it feel like when the child is being born?
Carol: It's hard to describe really. Wait. I can give you an example.
With your thumb and index finger, pinch your upper lip.
Vicki: (with a bit of a mumble as she is pinching her lip...) This isn't to bad?
Carol: Pinch it really hard!
Vicki: (With a bit of a tear in her eye and a little bit more mumble...) Ya. This hurts a bit but not to bad.
Carol: Pinch, Really, Really Hard!
Vicki: OK!
Carol: Now! Pull your lip over your forehead!
