wink , or smile

This may seen like a dumb question, but really curious. Is there any way to look at a man to let him know you are interested in him? Do I wink, or smile at him or what?

hmm... i would have to say a well placed smilie would do, make sure to look right in his eyes when you do it.

personally i dont like winks, becasue winkers make me feel as though the girl is s****y. depends how well i know her, but just a chick from the streets.. no winking.

If I were on the market, I'd rather receive the smile. A wink would make me think the girl just wants in my pants.

My .02...guys like things to be right to the point. A wink or smile is ok...but he might just think you're being friendly and not realize that you're hitting on him.

I say just go up and ask him...and leave little doubt.

Eye contact and a smile. If you have to, do it several times. I believe that's the best and politest way IMO.

if the guy has any friends who are girls...simply ask them if he is available etc..or ask her what his name is etc....word will get around quickly....I have seen things work out that way many times. I have had girls who are friends of mine tell me "hmm, your name sure has been comin up a lot in conversation lately" or something along those lines. Or sometimes they might tell me straight up "I know someone who is interested in you".

Several times something like this has happened to me...I go to a resteraunt alone and eat....while I am there I start to notice a lot of whispering and laughing going on by the female workers...then here comes on of them over to the table..."Someone wants me to ask are you available"...lol...that happened to me at a steakhouse one day...I said "not really, but who wanted to know" (or something)...and it turns out the female manager was interested in me. Now I guess I am old fashoined etc....but I wouldnt have been comfortable starting something like that unless it was just a fling deal....because if she was THAT open and forward with me...then I would think she'd be that way with every tom, dick, and harry that came thru..no way Id be able to trust her.

If a girl winked at me I would be put off by it...I would think she was a "playa" at that point and id be non-interested.
