Best day for memory prices?

I thought I read somewhere Tuesday is a bad day to buy memory. In the last week I've been watching 512MB DDR PC2700 go from $75 to $81. Not a bid jump, but that's $12 for two sticks. Anyone know how to read/take advantage of the fluctuating price of memory? (w/o MIR's!! )

Thanks!

*edit- Gotta love a good find when you need it!!

There really is no "perfect" day to buy memory. First off, it's overpriced. Anyone worth their salt will buy DDR400 or faster to support future expansion, and at over $100 and sometimes going to $150 per 512MB stick, it's a hefty investment.

There will always be something cheaper, faster, better around the corner. My thing is to wait until the last minute to buy stuff unless you see something on sale that you don't find often. I waited a bit to build my computer, and instead of going with an AthlonXP 1800+ I'm now running a 2500+ as a 3200+, with an OC'd GeForce4 Ti 4200 instead of a GeForce4 MX.
