Again, even though time has passed, file a complaint with
www.fraud.org - it really works if at all possible to find the company/seller.
I had similar problems one time and they found the vendor who had gone out of business and I got a call 2 days after complaint from the vendor who previously was unreachable and had a full mailbox also. Attorney General/Better Business, etc. are contacted by the site - saves you the frustration of knowing who to contact. Provide all info you can (names, phone numbers, etc., ), and get what info you can from your checking account/charge card company on transaction too if applicable. Of course, occasionally even government officials can't find people who are bigtime scammers and skip out, but this is probably your best bet.
I hope you contacted your credit company too, if it was a charge. May be too late now, but still worth calling now and see what they advise if you did not.
And a lesson learned, be careful who you deal with - even though a deal may sound good, might be best to pass it up and try to deal with well-known reputable vendors, or lesser knowns you link to from sites known to be reputable.
Good Luck, getting ripped off is one of my pet peeves - I work for an attorney and see this happen to people frequently.
