cool then!

so rick you think my case would sell for $30? how much does shipping in CA cost for something that size and weight

mid tower, bout 17'' H, 8'' W, and 18.5'' D

however much it weighs? 25Lbs?

*edit* nevermind i found a shipping charge calculator that'll do the trick

I think getting selling price advice on this forum is pointless.

Most people on this forum are system builders, and never would dare to buy anything retail.

For example, evil rick just parted out your computer, with fairly low estimates and did not include shipping cost.

He also did not include build time, and configuration. While most on this forum can build there own computer, many can not. Also the price people offer here is going to be atleast $200.00 less then if you put an ad in the paper.

I kind of agree with what has been posted already, with the exception that ALL computers are obsolete within 6 months, once built. No matter how much of a killer rig you have when you build it, once you build it, new stuff will come out that will smoke it.

But, hey, that's the joy of home built computers...Ok, Ok, I'm off my soap box....geez....

I think you could get 1100 at least from someone who doesn't know much about comps. I know a guy who had an upgrade, builder used some of his existing parts (drives et cetera) threww in a bigger hd (80 gig) a few sticks of ram (1 gig) and a vid card for dual vga, also updated to xp, charged the guy $1000.
