I am considering purchasing a 700 series. I am told it was purchased in late 99, P III and windows 98. They only want 200 bucks. I am weary about it but for the price seems like a good deal. Any feedback appreciated.

Now, to answer your question. If your first instinct is "uneasy" then I'd say don't do it.

Why do you feel uneasy, the seller, the condition of the laptop? Can you see pics and have you checked the seller out?
