Need help with VGA problem

Last week I purchased a new ATI Radeon 9000 VGA card. I tried to install it in my HP 513n computer and it wouldn't fit. The AGP slots (3) are too close to the back of the case or the card is too long by at least and inch. I thought all VGA cards were the same size, I've put them in computers before with no problem, what gives here?
Any help will be appreciated.

VGA problem

Disreguard former post, I just got a reply from HP support, that 513n has PCI slots, not AGP's. I feel really dumb now.

dont feel bad...you CAN get some half decent PCI video cards by the way..they wont be as fast as AGP cards but the will be way better than onboard video

VGA problem

Thanks for your encouragement, the Radeon went back today. I'm still checking out the PCI units available and I think the Radeon 9200 128mb might be the one but I'm still looking. John, I have been doing a lot of reading about the real difference in VGA and PCI bus performance. Seems that the AGP only excells at the really high resolutions but falls behind the PCI at the lower ones. I usually run at the lower resolutions to keep the performance higher, but am still researching it. Thanks guys for your replies.
