is there a reason why the rules thread was rewriten and locked ?

it pretty much says the same as the original . and also why lock it what was the problem ?

The "old" rules were getting kind of cluttered and really had no need to be posted in. If there's a question about the rules, then contact me or one of the Moderators and we'll answer it for you. If it's something that we might get a lot of questions about, we'll clear it up in the rules thread for all to see.

Having too many sticky threads actually hinders performance of the board so, the "BUMPING" one went and the "Price Check" will follow in a few days. They were created as reminders for the people using the forums for their own benefit.

Nothing has changed, except the Rules cannot be posted in anymore. All the rules are the same and easily accessible.
