Teflon is both slippery, and is a decent dielectric. The dielectric makes the cables perform differently at a given speed, and Teflon can allow faster data transmission (or at greater accuracy), if and only if the cable has been properly designed to act as an RF transmission line. Big words saying that Teflon IDE cables might be better. Or maybe just a gimmick.
