You forgot to list your CPU. If you plan on doing serious gaming, ditch the 9200 and get a 9600 Pro or XT. When you said "600Watt PMPO Subwoofer Stereo Speakers" stereo implies only 2 speakers. So are you really talking about a 5.1 set? And are they THX certified? The difference is very hearable.

I'm sure you can do better than that Sony burner. That's a horrible drive.

my mistake, the cpu is AMD Athlon64 3000+, I do not plan on doing any serious gaming, just some every now and then. The speakers are crappy 2 speaker set, but I might upgrade to Creative Labs SBS 560 5.1 Surround Subwoofer Speaker system for $60.

either of those would be better but I'd go with the pioneer

The fastest CPU doesn't contribute nearly as much as a good video card when gaming so I'd say let the CPU slide and get a great video card.

Ok, if I switch to the pioneer and get a speaker upgrade, it will be about $10-15 more I believe, so with those changes, does the PC look good.

Also, gaming is not my top priority and this is the lowest CPU they offer for this configuration.

well, if you plan on playing any recent/future games, you will need a better card, maybe not a 9800XT or 5900U (if u like those) but a 9600xt/pro will make you not have to buy the stuff further on down the line... you might even want to get a geforce4 ti4200(they have good reviews) but as for the future, u will NEED a better card

Alright, after your suggestions, here is what I have, (* means I changed it)

Case - Aluminum Z-Alien Case W/Window & Temperature display 450watt
CPU - Athlon64 3000+
Motherboard - Albatron K8X800 PRO II K8T800 Chipset 800FSB AGP8X
Memory - 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR Memory
Hard Drive - Seagate 120GB 7200 Serial ATA 150 8MB Cache
*Video Card - ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 128MB DDR AGP 8X W/TV-OUT & DVI
DVD-Rom - Sony 16x DVD-ROM
*DVD-Burner - Pioneer DVR-A06
Sound - 3D Wave On-Board 5.1 Sound Card
*Speakers - Creative Labs SBS 560 5.1 Surround Subwoofer Speaker system
Modem - PCI 56K V.90
Floppy Drive
Microsoft Internet Keyboard + Optical Wheel Mouse
Windows XP
Standard USB ports + 2 more
Standard Warranty plus One-year onsite service

That brings the total to $1115 shipped, but I have a question, for $14 less I can get the ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB DDR AGP 8X W/TV-OUT & DVI, would that be a better deal or not?
