I personally wouldn't order something that expensive from the site though It might be good for someone to order something nice and small to test it out.

Santasales=SantaCrooks

Don't purchase anything from this site. I ordered two of those S400's from them. They charged me the day I ordered them and never sent the items. Their phone number has been disconnected and they won't respond to my e-mails, though they're happy to hold on to the money they charged for the order.
The bottom line is that santasales makes promises they don't keep and will take your money and dissappear. Stay away.

They seem to be part of Yahoo shopping. They may be able to help you contact the vendor.

Don't buy from here. I ordered something from them and had the same experience as TechVigilante. I think they took my money and ran. Luckily, American Express protects me again internet fraud

So what do they do? Set up a site and take it down. If that's what they do, they did a pretty good job. Good thing you checked with other sites Magwel to see if that site is legite.

Hey Technutt, have you lodged a complaint with Yahoo! about santasales? As far as I can tell santasales is still up and running and is still hosted by Yahoo!. If enough people file complaints against santasales, especially for fraud, Yahoo! will take them off their server. I'd hate to have more people scammed out of their money like this.

Anybody who has had a bad experience with santasales can let Yahoo! know about the santasales.com fraud @ Yahoo! help.
Paste (or type) the following into your browser adress bar:

http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/shop/cgi_merchant

This will take you to the merchant reporting form.
On question number 4 of the form "What Are You Writing About?" select "Did not recieve order" if you had the fraud (they took your money and dissappeared) problem. Then in the "Type your feedback here" space give a brief and detailed description of your experience with santasales, including your suspicions of fraud.

It's a shame that there are these kinds of wastes of server space out there giving Tech shopping a bad name.
The good news is we can get these criminals off the web!
At lest off 'reputable' sites like Yahoo! shopping and the likes.

Thanks for the info TechVigilante. I was trying to find out where I can report it to Yahoo. I've already reported it to American Express and will be filling out the complaint form with Yahoo and any other places that I can complain about Santasales.

You would think that some way, some how they will get caugt since they need to have some sort of identity to set up a merchant account with the credit cards.

I am in the same situation with Santasales. They charged my AMEX card but never send the package. Telephone is disconnected. No replies on my emails.

I have reported this to Yahoo. Will see if it helps...

Technutt, how do you report the fraud to AMEX? Is there a chance to get our money back?

Thank goodness for AMEX!!!! When speaking to the customer service person, ask for the fraud department. They will take down all of the info, and they told me to deduct the charge off of my invoice.

They're very good about all of this stuff. My computer crashed once after the warranty expired and AMEX gave me back the money I paid for the computer because they double the manufactuer's warranty. If it can't be fixed they give you back the money
