no it may not be if you do the math onthe Plasma TV it is a list of 40 people at $160 each that is 6,400 the Website gets /TV sent out.. so they are making money... tv was listed at $4,150 = net proffit $2250

After a quick look at the FAQs, it looks like a pyramid scheme to me.

Sounds like a scam to me...
Seems to me that 40 people will get this, and the 41st person (and on down) will begin paying for the other TV's-so basically, if you're not one of the first 40 you don't get one, and if not enough people sign up for this, even the first 40 won't receive theirs as well. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.
You can contact the site owner to verify the specifics. Do a whois lookup to get more info on the site...

Dude-it is definitely a pyramid scheme. Check it out.

They say:

“The plan is based off a straight-line matrix. This means that the person in the top position of the matrix is “cycling” as soon as the number of people to fill the matrix has been reached the person at the top gets there free item and is removed from the list. Then the next person below will begin to cycle."

The only problem is that unless you are like first or second to “cycle” then the number of people are required to “recruit” grows exponentially. There is no telling how far down on the matrix you are when you are recruited. If you are recruited at level 7 for example it means that something like 65,000 people have to be recruited before you see your prize.

It’s a joke man, it should be illegal.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

your name is put in what is called a matrix. even though it doesnt specify this, this is how they usually work:
this is for a 4 person matrix
X signs up
y signs up
z signs up q signs up
x gets the item
y moves into the first spot
now, 3 more people have to sign up for y to get his stuff. then 3 more people for z to get his stuff. basically, the top people will get their stuff and the people who are still in line whenever the website closes or people lose interest get screwed

now for this one its a 40 person line. so 40 people sign up and 1 gets the tv. then 39 more sign up (79 total) and 1 gets the tv(2 total). then 39 more sign up (118 total) and 1 gets the tv (3 total)

you can see how this quickly gets to a lot of people giving money, and not a lot of people recieving tvs.

the reason that this is legal is that they are selling an e-book, and as a free gift are placing you into this matrix. paying for a matrix is illegal, but a spot in it can be given as a gift.

in conclusion: unless that ebook is worth the $160, and you dont really expect to get the tv, dont waste your money.

if you want to figure out how many people would need to sign up before you get your tv just use this
#ofpeople = 39x + 1 where x is your place in line

looks somewhat legit, but you pay for this promotion book and then wait around until you cycle? so pay 35$ for book and then wait to see if you will ever get a playstation 2...5 years down the road....LOL
