So what it the deal with it. It seems it started out as a place to give feedback on vendors. This was great because it gave you some degree of confidence when purchasing online.
Now it seems there is absolutely no qualification for being listed, because every time I'm looking for something it brings up a couple of the good vendors and 30 that I've never heard of and apparently nobody else has either because there are no customer reviews.
Take for instance the Abit MOBO that is currently being advertised on the site for $30.00 http://www.resellerratings.com/price...DMT-1~VK-&cs=3
The average price out of the 23 stores seems to be $110.00, yet one vendor called Dumping Goods has it for $30.00. DUMPING GOODS, c'mon, who the hell are they? Sounds like some guy with a garage full of stolen goods. Of course if you go to their site they don't have it and probably never did.
I guess it worked though, reseller's gets a couple of bucks, and we get duped into visiting some sites that may or may not be legit.

My guess is, there aren't any reviews cuz no one wants to buy from a place called Dumping Goods.

That price is likely for a refurb board. I looked into them a while back when I saw they had a board I wanted and it was a refurb, very cheap.

I checked out the reviews on resellerratings.com, some people are very happy and some were not very happy. So..... ?

Ok, maybe I spoke too soon. It's not the vendors I was worried about, it was ResellerRatings. I now see that dumping goods has some reviews. So it seems Reseller's is still doing what they started.
However, since Dumping Goods does have reviews, why is there no store rating for them, and why do I have to search all the vendors to find the reviews when I click the "read reviews " link?

First, ResellerRatings generally allows any company to be listed, as long as they sell products to the public. ResellerRatings is not one giant list of elite companies, it's every company, good and bad - it's the reviews and ratings of the companies that set them apart from one another.

The reason why you're not seeing "dumping goods" review page when you click on "read reviews" is because their Dealtime ID# is not synched up with their ResellerRatings seller_id#.. That's not true for other merchants and we'll fix that problem, but you can always find a company by going to ResellerRatings' homepage and entering a company name or domain name into the "find a company" search box.
