wow... I thought that was pretty crazy..
I was crusing through newegg.com and came across Diamond as a Video Card Manufactuer.. I got pretty excited at first, remembering the days of yester-year when Diamond was THE best video card money could buy.. and then was very disappointed when I saw thier website:

the "name" was bought by Best Data Products in sept. 2003..
a company known for low-end computer products, seems they've trying to use past name recognition to thier advantage..
man, kinda makes you sad.. especially with all those great memories of the "past" Diamond Multimedia..
