Ordered it Thursday in the AM, Fed Ex says shipped outta Edison, NJ!

At my doorstep this morning.

If you're tri-state area you just might have a shot at delivery before XMas day

It's out of Edison which is Fedex's distribution center. UPS has a center at Edison also, in the Raritan Center.

Newegg's warehouse is in fact in South River, NJ.

i ordered on saturday night... came on THURSDAY!!

which is very close to NJ
so i dont know why it would take that long

You guys (as a whole, which includes the young, old, male, female, everyone) put a little too much faith into them, and set the bar a little too high, and then when they dissappoint you, you all flip out. Just don't forget, they have 3 warehouses (in the US), one in CA, one in NJ, and one in TN, and not every warehouse has everything which could be the reason why you got your package on Thursday.

i bought something from newegg on Thursday morning and actually got it today.

i don't know how that happened, i didn't even expect it until next tuesday, but i am certainly surprised and happy with new egg.

It's never taken NewEgg more than three business days to get my stuff to me. And I live in the boonies in upper Michigan.

ordering on saturday and the package arriving on thursday is understandable. they dont process orders over the weekends, so its like ordering on monday and then recieving it on thursday.

But from the strategic locations of where Newegg have their warehouses, it shouldn't take that long for the packages to arrive at your door step.

NewEgg used to take five business days when everything came from CA. Now it is usually 3 or 4 days and I live in South Florida.

As far as raising the bar, it's time for most companys on the net to realize they need to operate seven days a week. Especially around Christmas!

ZipZoomFly lost a $700.00 order from me today, since they are closed on weekends and there is no way I could contact them to make sure it would arrive before Christmas. They have got to get out of the M-F 9-5 mindset or they will never seriously challenge the B&M's.

Newegg is usually always very fast on delivery. poopeyhead is correct though, if it takes more then three days, people sometimes are going bonkers.
