Case-Mod's Shipping Rates

Does anyone know what the difference is between FedEx Live Rates and FedEx Zone Rates? I'm placing an order at Case-Mod and I'm given these two options. What's the difference?

Yeah. They're based in San Jose, CA and I'm in Los Angeles. The Zone rates are about $2 more than the Live rates.

I checked out the FedEx website for you and clicked on rates, all I could find was "Zone Rates" and there was NO mention of "live rates". I even did a google on it, nothing.

So I'm not sure but I think Zone rates is a safe bet, try emailing case mods.

I did a search also and found nothing. I was hoping someone here who uses Case-Mod a lot knew cuz it's faster than e-mailing them.
