Excluding the guy/gal who had no complaint with them because never dealt with them (!), we FINALLY arrive at the closest to a Compliment for DON'T BUY.COM > >"Good stock, fair rice.....phorrible, horible, horrible customer service (shoud be called Customer Disservice") Yes,Good stock and fair prices is quite complimentary....if you don't need and Customer (Dis)service

I looked up another review Site to see what is going on there, and after some folderal I got to this Post:"...Maybe Somebody listened to all the Complaints"

Imagine haveing a normal Vendor-Buyer experience and being "surprised" that that happened !

Yup, in a mere TWO years --after working on all the complaints, -- they finally got to have the present abysmal record now, from what they had then!

Looking at recent Reseller Ratings , there is one chance in three of being --surprised !

EDIT: When you get to the other "Don't Buy etc." Site .., look at the upper left hand side, where it says Don't Buy From for their other Ownership !

Buy.com's service and quality has definitely gone downhill the last year or two. They used to be everything NewEgg is now. I just hope the Egg doesn't go the same route.

I've ordered from them once, and don't intend to do so again. Although I did get what I ordered, shipping took excessively long, and I get the feeling I kind of lucked out as it is.

Before I buy from a reseller, I like to peruse their policies. You'll usually find some suprises.

I always shop with www.newegg.com and www.excaliberpc.com the latter being an excellent site with fantastic policies take some time and read this to find out what every reseller should be doing right now.

I used to buy everything from Buy.com with no problems. All their computer parts were drop shipped from Ingram Micro (largest wholesale supplier in nation) so it was always new and the latest. They were perfect supplier. There prices have been higher the last few years and www.newegg.com is now the KING. Management at BUY.COM should be fired for messing up such a good business

i was quite pleased with them when i ordered from them in the past, honestly. i ordered a vidcard from them, and when i got it, it was defective. instead of giving me a runaround, they promptly accepted my return and issued me a brand new card that worked fine. they even paid the cost of shipping for me. i haven't really bought from them much, but i would still consider them a decent outlet to work with.
