There is no "cutoff" are you reading my posts? Treatment would be the same regardless of score.

It doesn't matter what the rating is. All deals will go up as they always have, simply with additional information to inform consumers, and not pass judgment on a retailer.
Seems simple enough. I have no idea what is so tough to understand.

Seems simple enough. I have no idea what is so tough to understand. | I agree with that also. You should not have a 'cut off point'. Either always show the ratings or never show the ratings. However, just like when people start talking about A/V software, OS's, cpu's or gpu's. Which is better and such. They all have their pluses and minuses and none of them are 100%. Even though I believe that RR is one of the best merchant review sites there is, even RR is not 100% accurate when it comes to predicting the future. EDIT:
You know, showing the ratings all the time would give Rob more to do.

DOOOOG Back!
Ah! I missed this place!
Now I'm in Miami Beach --see "Do they Charge to Flush the Toilet?" in TechIMO Community Forum...
In the matter of the Operation in questio and Fristbitetwice remarks about low, low prices..Hmmm..sounds like I once posted something about the true victims of untethical selling pracices --which s often the price paid by ethical venders.
This is a competitive business and one that cuts o many corners puts a downward pressure on others to do the same.
Also,it creates a genera distrust for all online buying and thereby harms ligitimate selers in that way. Most value their reputation and for a business that is often its most precious asset. A business modelbasd on attracing "eyes" to a Site -to sell advertising or whatnot -- without having the item advertised as "In Stock" takes business away from those that have it in stock.
It is the ethics that caused me to start this post in first place. Plus wasting my time.

I've bought from Buy.com at least 10 times and never had an issue.
