IMHO, Dell is the WORST of the WORST!
My 2 day old dell needed a new hard drive. I did not want to return it because I had to pack it back up and ship it back..too much work.
But anyways, I called tech support. waited over 1 hr to get the right department, just got transfered and transfered. Then finally I got the right department, there was this person who spoke broken english. The man asked me if I could install it myself. I said yes. Ok, so he shipped out the hard drive.
The reason I needed to install the hard drive is)
1) Not home till 9:00PM
2) I don't want anyone to do it for me! lol
Anyways, I get this phonecall that a person is coming over to install my hard drive on my answering machine. (called in)
So, I want to cancel this order so I can install it myself because no one is home! I called dell, kept on getting transfered. Then after 30mins of getting transfered, this person tells me I cannot cancel this. I would have to wait for the tech person to ship the new hd back to dell, and then they will ship me the HD direct. That was too much trouble for me and took too long. So, I had to go home, which is inconvient, to wait for the tech. I asked the tech if he could just hand me the hard drive and i hand him back the bad one. Luckily, he was nice, and said it was ok. So I got the new hard drive and raced back to work.
So in all, I'm so disappointed with dell's customer support and tech support!

Last Time I'm Buyin Dell.
Apple's tech support/customer service beats dell's by 110%!!
