REBATE how fast?

Am trying to build 10systems gaming systems. How fast is Officemax in sending rebates back?

i haven't had any problems with office max in the past . takes about 2-3 months per rebate . some are faster ,like manufactures rebates . officemax rebates are about 3 months in my experence

I have never had a problem with Officemax. Usually got my rebates within 6 weeks.

Best Buy is the one that I have had problems with.

I have always received my rebate checks from OfficeMax. I've had problem on two separate occasions with a combined rebate, but it was the manufacturer's fault, not OfficeMax ( I got their part of the rebate).

As far as time frame, I agree with Omardeth: expect about 2 to 3 months.

Rebates still tend to be a tad risky. Always take the time to document, copy (and copy everything!), and keep track of them. On the larger ones (generally over $65 - $70 or so), I try to send with delivery confirmation. That way, it is a bit harder for the company offering the rebate to weasel out of it. The problem is that most if not all rebates go to a PO box, so this may not be totally foolproof. But, it did give me leverage when I complained on a really late rebate (past 5 months or so -- not OfficeMax though. I believe it was I/O magic).

rebates vary check what it says. As stated MIR is usually faster than rebates from the stores but your statment leads me to think your building 10 systems?? only one rebate per houshold is usual better have 10 addies

this damn caching stuff is killing me my times are way off as well as replies not being listed where can i issue complaints
note to self * send note to rob and scott
