Dont hold your breath...cuz that would go against the basic reasoning behind rebates..as far as the companies were concerned...that would make it easier for you, lol....what they are doing by offering the items after the rebate is approved is just giving themselves one more chance to save a few bucks.....after theyve made you go thru the labyrinth required to get the thing approved they give you one more shot at losing some of your $$$.
Rebates are like dirty water going through a filtering process....the more filters=the more stuff gets caught up. So of all the thousands who buy a product....only a small % come thru all the filters. This latest twist is sort of like a little filter on the end saying "hey, do you want a $30 rebate or a $20 rebate??!". The companies know that invariably some people will choose the $20.
