Orderd a COMPLETE webpage template from them that was missing files and would not load without errors. They will not send the files or fix the template and let me dl again.

If you buy from them you better know as much as the template designer about flash, photoshop and html editing or you might be unable to fix it.

As they are not listed here (yet) they might be new or change names a lot.

You have been warned; don't lose your money too...

It says they will review it after I tried to "add a reseller." And nothing more... No message anything like "we will let you know."

Unless I am doing something wrong I can not add the company. I have been reading this site for years and I never knew they screened the company’s added. This surprised me a bit and made me wonder how open this site is...

It is their site and they can do what they want but I was disappointed…

Last year (2003), we sub-contracted to have Inverse-Logic.com (which owns Template Monster) to create a custom Flash intro with a web site layout and a change to an existing logo. When they did the logo, they did such a bad job, that our client said that they didn't even want to have the website done. When we told Inverse Logic that our client decided not to move forward, we were entitled to a partial refund for work not completed. They decided not to refund us and ignore all of our emails. They won't even give us a phone number to contact them. They are located overseas, so it's almost impossible. Several weeks ago (Feb 2004) they said that they would give us a refund...BUT THERE WAS NO REFUND. And they have decided again to stop communicating with us...We lost over $1000 with them!

BUYER BEWARE! Inverse-Logic owns TemplateMonster.com, Template-Tuning.com, and Template-Help.com. Do NOT buy from any of these companies if you do not want to be ignored or cheated.

This scam project still goes on, involving templatemonster.com, templatuning.com and a huge bunch of related sites. Infact searching for and find webtemplates has become impossible to do without ending up as a victim of these companies. Why - simply because there are a huge amount of sites that this scam project owns - just try a google search on "webtemplates" or similar - as you go true the different sites (and there are a lot of them) you will notice they offer the same templates on each site. So when you recognize this - stay away because this is a fraud.

You may purchase and receive templates, but they are useless and require tuning. And here is where the fraud begins.

When purchasing the template, you almost automatically becoms a "member" or get registered at templatehelp.com or templatetuning.com. You will get a coordinator that present them selvs through online chatting. The coordinator ask you to upload the template you have purchased together with requirements for your change. Then the coordinator comes up with a price that you have to pay in advance to get the job done. If you do - you will get scamed, and the tuning will never happen.

I have experienced this. The coordinator was even laying, and said that they have done the changes and I should pay for it. First he insisted on that they had done the changes, but when I confronted him with the fact that what he claimed to be they work already was implemented in the template, he turned around and said the had not done any changes, but they could start the project if I paid in advanced. It also seamed to me that the coordinator did not had a clue what he was talking about. And yes, I have a transcript of the online chat.

So what does it take to stop this notorious fraud? As I said, I don't think anyone yet knows how big this scam/fraud projec are, but it is big. This scam project also must be a big promlem for other serious template suppliers.

So this is my small contribution to the part of the Internet society that don't want to be scamed.

I was going to say that people should file complaints to the Better Business Bureau, but these individuals do not have a business address and are out of US jurisdiction.

I have investigated them, they are hiding in Panama behind a p.o box, so again no physical address.

Yesterday I ordered an oscommerce template for a webshop at x-templates.de

When you order you will be redirected to a site called www.templatehelp.com and Template-Help.com

I payed with Paypal. After payment they did not deliver a download link for my ordered shop, but they wanted a copy of my passport or my driving-license. I gave them a copy and then I got this message:

Dear customer,

We are sorry but we can proceed with your order only if you will use web money

You should just go to the oscommerce website and download one of the free templates. That's what I did for my online store. Yes, I had to make a few css changes to make it compatible with the 'look' I wanted and substitute my images for theirs, but it only took a day. I still have a few changes I want to do to it, but I can do them as time permits ... The reason I did my own template is because I didn't want to hassle with anyone over doing it my way. If I do it myself I always get what I want. Yes, there is more time involved, but the monetary cost is a lot less. I found too, that when someone advertises a 'free' product, you usually end up paying more for it than if you just get your local PhP programmer to do it for you.

So please, before posting this kind of comments , it would be better to try to understand what an AFFILIATE RESELLER means, (FYI: this is the reason why , when you purchase a template from Tornado-templates.com , you are taken to template-help.com site. The payment is done to the owner company, and they pay us a commission for each template we sell trough our web site. And We ALWAYS GOT OUR COMMISSIONS.

SO I CAN GUARANTEE, THERE IS NO FRAUD THERE! Please read carefully read the terms and conditions before buy any template. Also, they use FRAUD PROTECTION systems. You might get called by phone after purchasing , before the template downloadlink is dispatched to you .

Anyway, I think this type of comments, that harm to business should be checked first, before they get published.

People work really hard to build a business, years and years, then a "clever" goes and publish a post and can ruin a 100% HONEST business. It is easy to publish a comment but, come on, why don't you learn more about a company, or why don't you think first that if you are taken to the same place when purchasing , that might be an affiliate network?

I am finishing here, but I have to repeat, TORNADO-TEMPLATES.COM is a 100% TEMPLATE RESELLER THAT HELPED A LOT OF PEOPLE ALREADY!

I wish I have made a research of user reviews before purchasing from them.
I have bought from Joomla Templates - 500+ High Quality Joomla Templates with PSD's and they sent me useless files, the support answers were just directing me to video demonstrations of procedures with nothing to do with my problem.
Then they stopped answering me at all.
Joomla Templates - 500+ High Quality Joomla Templates with PSD's IS another fraud. They also redirect to template-help.
Don't buy from them.
