Svcompucycle

FYI: Had a problem with ordered not delivered. After days of informing SVC by email(they do not answer the phone) This is the answer they sent me. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES WHICH ARE EITHER LOST OR NOT DELIVERED. Wonder who is??? No help from them on tracking the lost package. No more orders from this house. Another lost customer.

If this was an auction purchase, use Ebay or feedback to get some attention. What did you get by way of confirmation from the retailer when you placed the order?

They did send notice of shipment. That is how I found the problem. My main issue is that I did not make the order with the Post Office. They would not offer to find the package. Their part was done when it left their shipping dock.

If you sent it via USPS, they have up to 30 days to deliver it. If after that you don't receive it, make a claim with the post office. As far as other carriers, you should have gotten a tracking number in your e-mail that you can use to determine where the package is. If the carrier lost it, make a claim and the carrier should pay to re-order your stuff. (Happened once to me with UPS- they were great and even gave me free next-day shipping. Very good thing since it was the day before x-mas and I needed gifts! )

I've ordered from SVC before and it was as smooth an experience as could be. Their prices on modding stuff are excellent.

I ordered something last year (paid via paypal), and I am still waiting for it!

I called and e-mailed, never got a response. I usually tell other people to stay away.

USPS will not honor any claim without the insurance number. They can put a tracer on it but unless there is an actual tracking number, there's nothing they will do. The only way they will pay to re-order your stuff (with the USPS) is if an insurance number and receipt are provided. This is dealt with both the sender and the receiver. If you have a tracking number you can go to http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackan...rackandconfirm

I got my SLK-900A from them within 2-3 days from when I ordered it.

I don't know what you can do if they sent it via USPS, though. No delivery confirmation?

I bought a computer from them some time ago, it was DoA. I told them what was wrong with it (just the video card) but they said I was going to have to ship the whole thing back to them (which was going to cost me another $35). I stay away.
