UPS keeps burning me

back in late august i ordered a new case for a rig i was building for my family when it arrived it was severely damaged so i had to call directron and get them to RMA it well the did the new case arrived and the old one was suppose to be picked up. The UPS man couldnt pick it up that day because he "didnt have the return order" (or some BS like that). BUT UPS had allready tried to pick it up one time at the wrong address at a later time UPS did come back but everyone was at work. FINALLY they came back again but this time they came during a Hurricane and noone was here. well i called UPS and asked that since they attempted could i just drop it off?? I was informed that once they had attempted 3 times that the pickup was dead and they couldnt do anything about it that i had to call the company i orered the case from and have them reissue another pickup. so about 2-3 weeks ago I call the company and the guy tells me he is getting it reissued. Like i said that was 3 weeks ago and its still sitting in my living room.

I can do better that. 7 years ago I ordered an airrifle. This was a
$1400.00 airrifle. Hardwood laminated stock. Package arrived, looked like a tank ran over it. Stock was snapped clean in two. The barrel was bent. I ended up going to court to get satisfaction.
I won. It took 4 months.

Something similar happened to a friend of a coworker. He went to the Gulf of Mexico for some salt-water fishing. He caught a 1000 pound marlin (which is a one-in-a-lifetime deal), had it stuffed(which took a year) and was having it shipped home UPS. He never got it, what he did get was a slip saying that his package was damaged severly. They won't even let him see it at the warehouse since it's got an insurance claim pending.
Sounds bogus to me.

If you mean rifle case, there wasn't one. The rifle was comming from the importer in factory packing.

no BUT the new case came pending a claim filed with UPS i got the new case and they were suppose to pick up the old onebut they never got it. but they are suppose to get it sometime.
