If they are delivering to you in a rental van, chances are no one has been awarded your zip code as a permanant route.

Maybe you could get the job and deliver to yourself. J/K

LOL, woohoo! Well, they WERE using a FedEx truck. But it seems they've struck a deal with Enterprise that is more lucrative.

I too have had similar probelms with Fed ex. They said that my package was "out for delivery" for about 5 full days. I was pretty angry but then my package came and I forgot about it.

Yeah, my package came and I still haven't called them [again]. I'm not ENRAGED, though concerned. If he is indeed not deliverying when he should be, then he is causing their effeciency to drop, which in turn causes prices to raise. So I should call them to at least give someone a heads up in case a replacement needs to be found.

Here is the Phoenix area, I have never had a problem with FedEx service. No late deliveries, no damaged packages and no problems.

Just today I received a shipment from them from Ohio that the tracking site said would be delivered tomorrow.

NOW, UPS is another story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never had any problems with Fedex here. Most packages are delivered on time or a day early. UPS is a different story. Fedex has some bugs in their tracking system. I am expecting a package from them tomarrow. Just checked the status of it a few minutes ago. This is what it said.

Either my package has gone back to Atlanta and is on its way back to Denver or they have a bug in their system.

Fedex always just leaves it on my steps if no one is at home.

Fed Ex missdirected a package once. The person I talked to was helpfull initiated a trace on the package. This was a Sat. morning.
Package arrived the following Mon just after 8:00 AM. Once a Fed Ex driver delivered to the back door. I've had UPS drivers walk away before I could get to the door.

Fedex only delivers every other day to my area and it's usually when everyone is gone, so we finally signed a release saying they could leave it at our house if we're not there. We live in the country and out of sight, doors unlocked so we're not scared someone's going to steal our packages.... But it's the middle of winter and fedex leaves a small package in the snow! my dog loves to play fetch so he tears open the package and uses the serial addaptor as his toy.... So we call Fedex to get insurance or something but they said we signed the release... so it's our responcibility! I didnt think the release meant leaving it outside in snow with animals around. So we say we dont want you to leave packages outside, yet they still do, They set anything on the portch, any time of year, and just leave it. I didnt even notice some off the packages till days later. UPS is good they knock and leave it in the door. Stupid fedex.
