MCI turned me into a creditor

For $6 and some cents. But here's the kicker. For some reason they sent me the bill, even though it was for charges to my girlfriends phone line (my name is only on there for security reasons so I can moan about the DSL to them...)

They sent me a bill, $2.99 for a collect call. Fine, no biggy. But then there was some sort of service fee for a service on the phone line. I called to ask what this was, and they gave me a run around. I asked if it was for a long distance service we ordered and never got. They said no, but didn't sound so sure about that.

long story short, my credit is scarred because these morons tried to charge me for something I didn't receive, and have now turned me into collections for the bill! I told them I would pay the $2.99, but only that and only if the fee for the service I didn't receive would be dropped. They refused.

Dingleberries! I wonder how much they've spent mailing me these invoices and having the collectors call me...corporate america, weeeeeee.

Sprint does the same thing! Ever tried to cancel a service because they failed to provide requested service? After fighting with them to get the service for a year, I finally gave up and tried to cancel. I was slapped with a bill for $230.00 for breach of contract. Prior to this I never got billed for the service I wasn't getting. Told them where to stick it and turned it over to my lawyer! Never heard from them again!!!

Just in case anyone is thinking of getting a cel phone with these maroons!

I'm going to call their customer service right now and talk to someone about this.

Well, I'm on a roll this last week. Got Frontier to finally refund two months of my DSL bill after 3 months of headaches.

I also got ahold of a friendly lady at MCI who just dropped the whole bill. Told her I was still willing to pay the $2.99, but she dropped the whole thing for having turned me into a creditor.
