depends on if the person has any kind of feedback. I usually like the money first then i send off the product.

Unless i know he has been dealing around here for a while and he wont screw me over.

Buyer sends money first then gets product

Yeah, depends oon heatware. Many times I have shipped stuff to people I know and got the money even after 6 months.

I have a simple rule: if buyer has a better heatware than me, I ship first. Else he pays/ships first.

Of course, often there are people we know here on the forum. Then its like between friends and heatware don't matter.

Buyer sends money first. Thats the way I do it on eBay from both sides and seems to work fine for me.

Yeah, it really depends on the person and thier heatware. I also look at their post count here too. If they've been here a while and make a serious contribution to the forums I'll usually cross ship.

I always go with money first. This protects both sides if they are smart.

If you pay first, I always make sure to pay with my CC if possible. This way if I never see any product I will get my money back.

If you ship the product first, and no money is ever sent, it is harder to recoup your losses IMO.

This is for dealing with people I don't know though. If it is someone from this board or someone with good heatware then I am much more flexible.

As long as heatware or eBay refs are good, then I always send money or have buyer send money first. If there are no references, I receive goods before sending money. In regards to eBay, I rarely buy from anyone with less than 50 evals and I look hard at any negative evals as well.
