a couple of newbie questions for you?

looking at memory, if you use a barton 2500+ athlon xp processor, can you use crucial pc2700 memory? also when pricing memory i noticed it says IE. 64X72, 64X64 et cetera, how do you know which one you need for your board, I looked at the specs for the one I'm thinking of orderings and it didn't say?? any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance

Yep use the PC2700

When I got my 2500+ I did buy PC3200, but that was just so I could ugprade procs easier down the line.... certainly not required.

Regarding the type of memory, the best way is to go to Crucial.com and use their guide.. they'll tell ya what you need for your mobo

LOL Nice link Vass. I have to say, getting the click throughs for TIMO is a smart idea, however, Going to "America's Library" is somewhere that won't lead him/her to the right direction.
