my computer died i think, need some help

My old computer may have fallen, when I turn it on it won't boot up, and it starts beeping, any suggestions?????

What kind of beeps? As in, 3 short ones? One long one?

I'd open the case and take all of the cards and re-seat them in their slots. Do the same thing for the RAM, and go through and make sure all of the power and drive cable connections are snug.

Depending on the beeps, you may have un-seated your video card, RAM, or both. If it was a really horrendous drop, you may have broken something in there.

Do the case fans spin up and all that sort of stuff? What about the CPU fan?

everything seems to start up IE. fans etc.. the beeps are somewhat long and steady and never ending..........
