Not bad, not bad I say! Since NewEgg just completely lied to me the last I dealt with them, and I was having problems getting undamaged goods from them anyway, I've been on the lookout for an excellent replacement. Now, I haven't looked around DealSonic that much yet, as the way things have been working without NewEgg is I have to piece mail sometimes (they sure did have a big selection). But I've had fewer hardware problems this way, so I'll definitely take that trade.
But, anyway, I like to check my totals against NewEgg's sometimes, and this was one of the more impressive comparisons I've done vs. NewEgg.
Newegg didn't have a 400W HEC, and I didn't get the car adapter nor the tester.
350W HEC, True430, and Arctic Silver 3. 3-gram( 1 cc. ) tube.
Total there: $140.99 (both totals include shipping, of course)
Nearly $7 cheaper at DealSonic, and I got a better HEC PSU, a free tester, and a car adapter! WOOT WOOT!
Just wanted to thank NewEgg again for never refunding the shipping costs that I was assured would be refunded after that last case arrived smashed to bits, despite multiple communications (note underlying cynicism). I may have never found these guys!
