Also, don't you believe that if a store advertises a product for $x after rebate and you jump through all the appropriate hoops they want you to and it's still rejected, that the store should make an adjustment so that you get the product for the price it was advertised for? IMO, not doing so is false advertising - you followed the procedures and the rebate was rejected, therefore you could not get the product for the advertised price. In addition, like I stated above, a store not making good on the rebates they advertise is like the store shooting itself in the foot. About a year ago, Staples made good on a falsely rejected rebate a short time ago. Staples has gotten quite a bit of business from me since, precisely because they did make good on it.
