I HATE Kinko's!

Don't know if this is the right place, but it falls under buyer guidance.

10:20pm- I call Kinko's to find out how late they're open. I'm told they close at 11.

10:30pm- Drive to Kinko's.

10:45pm- Arrive at Kinko's. Finish filling out paperwork that I need to fax.

10:49pm- Watch two people walk into Kinko's and get service.

10:50pm- Almost all lights are turned off. I get out of my car and walk in. I'm told that they are closed. I look back at the sign on the door. It says they close at 11.

(I hate all caps, but I must.. forgive me.) WHICH IS IT!?!? ARE YOU OPEN UNTIL 11 OR 10:50? IF SOMEONE DRIVES TO YOUR STORE AND YOU CLOSE NINE MINUTES EARLY IT'S VERY INCONVENIENT!

Ok, I'm done. I tried epinions, but they don't list Kinko's B&M. Who else hates Kinko's now?

lol

I have a similiar rant.

I went into Tim Horton's (Canadian Doughnut Shop) for some donut holes (timbits up here) 19 minutes before closing.

Transcript:

Larger Lady: Sorry we're closed.

Me: But you still have 19 minutes until 10

Smaller Lady: We go by the clock in the back.

Me: I go by the clock in the front.

Smaller Lady: We don't.

Me: So you aren't going to sell me anything. Even though you are dumping them all out. (they are dumping out literally hundreds of doughnuts)

Larger Lady: Nope.

Me: You could have SOLD some of those.

Larger Lady: I don't care.

Me: Fine. (Leave steaming)

Made me very pissed off. Not that I really needed my hot chocolate, or timbits but it's the point of what happened.

One: It shows complete disregard to the customers.

Two: It shows complete disregard to the company they work for.

Three: The fact that they can stand there and defend themselves instead of letting me buy something shows that they are dishonest, as they most likely get time after closing to clean up.

It pissed me off to say the least, and has inspired me to do undercover closing time purchases, on camera with a wireless mic attached and a cameraman in the truck with tinted windows, outside filming inside.

They will pay for their disservice.

So does that mean you can show up 19 minutes before they open? The clock in the back says they're open!

Maybe they closed the registers .. but they could have been cool and just gave you FREE donuts .. instead of throwing them out in your starving face. Very rude.

if this topic has taught us anything, it is this:

if you work at a doughnut shop, it is good, because at the end of the day, you can eat the doughnuts that are supposed to get thrown out, and thats good, because doughnuts are good...but free doughnuts are even better.

and with that said, im hungry for a doughnut now.

Obviously it's 'anytime of the day, you can eat free doughnuts, because at the end of the day, they would be thrown out, because you refused to sell any'.
