Anyone had any experiances ordering online from Fry's Outpost lately? I was looking into the 120GB Ximeta Ethernet/usb2.0 external drive for a network.

Their reseller rating at the moment REALLY sucks... so I was wondering if anyone could say anything for/against them

I have used them once before to purchase a Linksys router. I ordered on a Monday around 2-3PM and the the FED-X driver had been to my apartment and left with said order before I even woke up on Tuesday morning. I was able to pick up my router from the Fed-X hub a few block from my apartment at about noon. The router was packaged with foam peanuts and airbags in a brown box and the router was inside of it's Linksys box(double boxed with packaging materiels also. I have not ordered from them in the past year though.......I have a Fry's 2 miles from my house now.

Outpost has come through for me every time I needed something overnighted. Last night I ordered a Linksys router, and by 9am, Airborne Express was at my door. Everything was brand new, very well packaged. I have used Outpost for many years and have never been dissatisfied, regardless of any bad feedback they've received. I once blew my hard drive at 10:30pm; ordered an IBM SCSI drive, which is hard to find in a retail store, and by 9AM, it was at my door.

So I gather you can tell I'm a satisfied customer.
