Kids I would like a digital camera for taking basketball pictures?

What would be a good digital camera for taking pictures of a boys highschool basketball game? I would like to capture dunks and alley-opps. I need help in finding a digital camera that I can take good clear action pictures from sitting in the bleachers. I do not own a digital camera. I have used a friends digital for email and ebay pics. So, I know very little about digital cameras. If you can help me or have an opinion thanks.

if your are going to blow up the pics to print them out make sure you get one w/ enough mega pixels cause i was trying to make 8 by 10s w/ mine and it isn't worth a crap for that works fine on ebay but not photo grade.

2.0 is good for 5x7
3.2 is recommended for 8x10s.

Something you'll have to remember is that the speed on a digicam is not as good as a regular 35 mm. Action photos are a lot more difficult because by the time the picture takes, it's too late. The newer ones are better and definately get one with an actual 'action mode' which increases the speed.

ISO equivalent ratings need to be more than 100, I'd look for 400 or more; believe me, my kids basketball game shots are all blurry, my camera is ISO 100 rated..
