Stay away from Monarch!

In April 2003 they had a impressive 9.75 rating when I placed my order. Now just a little over three years later there still here causing aggravation to many people with a sub standard 5.28 rating. Currently,7.21 is average. Had it not been for the resent “Hands in the Cookie Jar” attempt to clear there name I would not have reopened this thread,but people need to know to STAY AWAY! I'm amazed there still here,though on borrowed time.

I certainly hope RR will make every effort to find out just who is behind these false ratings.I for one consider tampering with consumer ratings a serious problem,especially in the area of computer dealers,where consumers may be risking thousands of dollars and baseing their decision on those ratings.

Ballast, you are right, this is indeed one hell of a CRAP company. Two years ago I decided I would spread my money around, to others than Egg. Based on this web site, I selected Monarch.

I place a $600.oo order and waited two weeks. I was building my new puter so these parts were needed. I called these so called "resellers" and they told me they could not ship because the billing and shipping address did not match. Ok, I said to the clown, why did you not call me and address this to me, because I would have given you the telephone number to my CC company.

The moran said that they do not do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This company is a JOKE. How they had a 9+ rating is amazing to me. I hope it goes the way of the Pinto. Someone told me that Mornarch is a divivison of Ford.

Only 37 false ratings? Thought there seemed to be too many happy Monarch shoppers out there after the grief most of us have endured. Thanks RR for investigating! BTW...Have any of you been contacted by Monarch to change your rating? I was!

Yes, they tried to hide their incompotence with stories and trinkets to change my review to be more favorable.

Theres a interesting thread over at OC's regarding Monarchs performance of late.
[EDIT] Their using the premise that this occurrence is a recent development, unware this has been going on since 2003.
