I placed an order with them on 10/29/2006 for a thermaltake eureka tower casing and thermaltake power supply which amounted to $367! I've been contacting them, sending them emails left and right but nobody seem to care to give me a reply. Prior to this order, I order 2 items from them and had no problems about those two prior orders until this last one. I used paypal for this order. I already filed a complaint which escalated to a claim but unfortunately, they have deferred my claim due to late filing! I also filed a formal complaint with BBB and am still waiting for their reply. Now, I think there's a slim chance of getting my money back. I'm already getting desperate on this one!! DON'T DEAL WITH THESE GUYS ANYMORE. LEARN FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

Using PayPal for large orders isn't a good idea. If,as in the case of Monarch, all the money in their regisitered bank account disappears, there's nothing they can do to recover your money.Likewise, the BBB really has no power to make a business make good on a claim.Getting a lawyer and starting legal action may be your only option, but be warned there's a long line of customers and suppliers waiting to get a piece of Monarch. And the taxman as well.

The propaganda continues

Though the time for damage control has long since gone, the famous"Monarch Mouthpiece" is still vainly trying to defend this company over in the [H]ard Forums.Take a look at this tread:

Read the comments by the new poster calling himself fastfwd.Sound familiar?I think GA400 has found a new home. The funniest part is that he admits they are being sued by at least four major suppliers, and had their assets seized for taxes, then tries to say this is no big deal!

Monarch's site is no longer accessable,I guess the company is officially dead. There is a report circulating that the owner and other employees are now working for Global Computer/Systemax.

Tiger has ethics, unlike Monarch. Never had a problem with Tiger... I doubt that Carl would hire the Harris brothers.

Oh, before I get flamed,I don't do rebates. I learned the hard way with CompUSA years ago .

What happens now?

So what happens now? I got my $4000 back from my credit card company, thank the lord, but what happens to all the other people who got their money taken? Will the ever see a dime of it? What happens to the owners? Do they go to Jail? Do they flee the country? What happens? Where are they? I want to take a **** on their doorstep
