Well I ordered a few cases from Monarch(Back in October Placed : 10/24/2006 22:27:36 MDT), So now Monarch is in trouble, So much for the $171.17, I used My BofA debit card and BfoA won't help at all and calling the 1-800-611-0875 number doesn't do any good, Even though It still works, I wondered why even though It's not 3pm here on the west coast that Monarch was closed, Will I get My money back on this canceled order? I don't know.

It's been pretty quiet on the Monarch front since the tax commission locked up their building.Curious how customers owed money or mechandise have been faring since this happened.Has anyone gotten their refunds or heard anything on how this affects them?

invinceable104 is infamous around these parts
I just got a letter from Citi today, saying that they will close my dispute if I don't send them a letter ASAP.

They want a letter or repair bill detailing why my mobo/cpu doesn't work (?), a tracking number that says it was returned already, or a letter explaining why I can't return it.

I can't return it because they aren't returning emails or calls, and I can't ship it without knowing anyone's there to receive it. You figure that's okay?

It would be pretty hard to return anything to Monarch considering their building has been locked up for taxes, they aren't returning calls or e-mail,no one can contact them at all.Maybe someone can contact the Dekalb County Tax Commission and find out exactly what's going on and where customers stand in all of this.

He's probably unemployed, like all of Monarch's mouthpieces. As for all the money, you'll probably have to ask the Dekalb Tax Commission.

The Butterfly has broken its wings.

Wow, I received my funds back from Monarck on December 2, 2007. I must have been one of the last ones to receive any funds back. Actually, PayPal got my funds back after I notified them of the impropriety. I could not believe the treatment that I received from them but when I see and hear the stories that others have endured I count my lucky stars for having been so fortunate. I guess now all we have to worry about is this bunch starting another mail order company under another name or worst yet this bunch finding other jobs within other companies. Hopefully Resellers Ratings will be able to keep a eye out for them. After this experience I know that I will not use another mail order company without consulting them. As for the ones that have yet to get their moneys back yet. I think that I heard about a class action suite or another possabilty might be to contact Atlanta's local Dixie Mafia and see if they might be interested in getting into the collection business. There should be enough incidents to make it worth their while and wouldn't that be the type of karma that people such as those deserve.

Looks like customers aren't the only ones who want a piece of Monarch, here's a listing of court actions being filed against them by their suppliers.

I bought a rather expensive rig from monarch last May... I was very happy with the computer and the entire experience, but apparently things have changed quite a bit since May.

Anyway, I read posts about Puget computer systems offering free labor on Monarch PCs that are under warranty. The warranty that i payed for from monarch included parts as well. The good reputation that Monarch used to have for their warranty serviceayed a huge role in me deciding to buy from them. I am wondering if the fact that monarch will probably no longer be able to honor the warranty that I payed for would be grounds for me to pursue legal action in the future, even though the PC is working well right now.
